Yes, please open bathrooms. I feel sure we could use the European method wherein we offer a senior citizen or reliable homeless person (call daybreak) the opportunity to set up a chair and small table and they would accept tips in exchange for opening/closing and tidying up.

We have a public yoga class every Saturday morning at Tattnall Square Park, and the bathroom needs to be open. I cant tell you how many times I've been asked if the restrooms were open, to have to answer no. This is the biggest downfall of the otherwise perfect space at this time. Please fix it! Must be open BEFORE 9 AM on Saturdays.

This is a must do. This park is so successful now we can't afford to let this problem continue. If we can't maintain our improvements and fix basic problems we will never have the community we all want to see.

We cannot leave the restrooms open 24 hours a day due to vandalism and loitering issues. I apologize for the inconvenience, but the restrooms can only be opened when staff is on duty or there is a rental of the facility.

Did someone ask for them to be open 24 hours a day? I didn't gather that.

My sentiments exactly Gwen. We would be better off with two porta potties near the road(for cleaning) than what we have now. That building should have been torn down instead of patched up and a safer, smaller couple of single use toilets would have made more sense. Stainless toilet and sink and one person at a time. No risk of someone hiding around corner inside. Sewer lin and water already. Well now for the time being we need a solution. Someone to definitely open on Saturday am. I don't think county will give a key to you or me so I guess they need to fund Carl's budget for a part time weekend person immediately.

Why does the tennis center open so late? Shouldn't the courts be accessible in the morning too?

On a trial basis beginning today, Tattnall's restrooms will open Monday - Friday 8:30 am and close at 7:00 pm. On Saturdays Tattnall's restrooms will open at 9:00 am and close at 5:00 pm. During this trial period staff will monitor restrooms for any vandalism, loitering and the budget impact of this service.

This is a start. So thanks for that, but I can't imagine that TSP is more dangerous or more likely to have vandalism than Central City Park, or even Amerson River Park. Give us a grounds person. Weekday moms with babes on the playground are still without facilities.
