The rush hour traffic on Vernon Blvd is a major issue on LIC. The influx of automobiles coming all the way from 34th avenue, Roosevelt island, and those from Vernon Towers and of ALL new developments in that vicinity, make the morning commute to Manhattan a nightmare. Vernon Blvd parking areas, and traffic lights HAVE to be reassessed to coincide with traffic patters. In 41streer and Vernon Blvd when the MTA bus makes a left the entire traffic stops for the duration of two or three traffic lights. In September when school starts traffic I will be even worse. Who deals with area. Please someone needs to take care of Vernon Blvd.
