Have packages delivered to place of employment if possible or have them held at the delivery company. If you do the latter you will have to pick them up.
Brendan, yesterday evening I saw at least a couple of books next to their packing envelopes. The books may still be usable, even though they've been out in the rain. They are in is the grove of trees between the school and the playing fields.
First thank you for reporting these books and helping me locate them, but I have trouble with wondering how many people saw stolen property and did not act.
I went searching for my text book, and although I did not find mine, I found two other books. It was very clear who the books belonged to with the addresses posted. I returned one to a home maybe 100 yards away while the other (which coincidentally belonged to the justice of the peace who married my wife and I)was destroyed by rain and mud.
While I do not want to just complain here I just would like to raise the question when should we pick up our smart phones make a post, and when should we pick up the stolen items and help our neighbors.
See Click Fix is great because it can help our community, but don't get caught in the app and forget about the world around us that we are actually trying to change.

I just want to say that not only did I report it to Seeclixfix ,but I also reported it to a neighbor who might know some of these addresses on the packages.I find it very RUDE that Brendan would complain about someone not from his neighborhood trying to help the only way I thought of on the fly FWIW.Maybe next time I walk right by..

Most of your stuff ends up in the trash if it has no street value.
Just don't have packages left on your porch.
It's East Rock... if YOU don't look out for YOUR stuff, it will get stolen.
