Description

Please mow grass along Watts Branch Trail staring at 61st St NE.  Knee high high grass, weeds and brush along the trail.  Trail starts at the corner of 61st St NE and Banks Pl NE.

During the day, mosquitoes like to rest in tall grass or among shrubs in a moist, shady spot. Keeping the grass short deprives them of a resting place.

The Anacostia Riverwalk Trail near Stadium-Armory is cut roughly on a weekly basis.  Please help us control the mosquito population in this area by cutting the grass regularly too.
