Description

Since the area of Pooler has began to grow with more and more construction which include houses, apartments complex's, stores, distribution areas the junction @ Hwy 80 and Pine Barren road has grown increasingly unsafe. Not only is it unsafe but the population coming in and out of this area is growing fast which has caused some major delays. I live on Pine Barren ans witness all the troublesome issues but it seems like no one else is attempting to fix a very simple, much needed problem. Not to mention the accidents that are caused by drivers who have waited and are very agitated that assume it's okay to drive out in traffic would be lessened if there was some action taken to reduce the problem.
The junction @ Hwy 80 and Pine Barren seems to have become a "shortcut" for people to get to Pooler Pkway or other areas which has gotten extremely worse over the last 5 years. If something can be done about putting a light up to lessen the wait, agitation, accidents then I think all of us Pooler residents can breathe a sigh of relief instead of driving out of our way because we know it's not a safe area to go through.
