I have contacted the sheriff's dept. and i was told that they are on private property and i would have to contact Code Enforcement. I then proceeded to call code enforcement and i made a report. They said it would be looked into. Since then, things have gotten worse. Not only are they trying to get into unlocked cars but now they are getting into our mail boxes. The police was notified again but the homeless tents and tarps are still up.

You might ask the owner of your apartment to approach the issue. Also, you can let the post office know if it's affecting our mail service. If you don't get a response from Code Enforcement, who is your City councilman?

I tried to do everything possible to get rid of the homeless camp but nothing i did was worth it.. the camp has grown 3-4 times the size.. police come on a daily basis to stop fights that are going on in the camps.my kids and i are scared for our saftey. We've asked for help everywhere possible. The only thing management did was hire security for 2 nights out of the week. The homeless/druggies antagonize us because they can. They threaten us. We are being bullied and the police, code enforcement, and city council wont do anything to protect the hard working tax payers of Lake Elsinore. What now.........
