My name is officer Schultz with APD.
I was recently informed of this issues. The vehicle was posted today and has until 2/24/17 to come within compliance with our General City Ordince or the vehicle will be towed.

Still open and car not moved over 4 months since reporting Over 5 years it has sat there untouched.

No one has moved that car in over 5 years
No plates. No inspection. eye sore

Awaiting 2/24/17 per APD who has posted notice on car that it will face towing after that date.

Vehicle is an eyesore and is STILL there. No plates, No inspection, Unmoved it just sits next to an abandoned house but is behind a chain link fence. A drive arount the neighborhood recently revealed that there a more than 4 more houses/lots with cars parked on them, readily visible from the street, and those veihicles do not have plates, inspections, etc. Some have flat tires.

Vehicle is STILL sitting there abandoned despite Officer Schultz posting it would be towed if not moved over 6 months ago. Isn't this a quality of life issue? How long must this neighborhood see eyesores like this?

Car still there. It is a fence which I believe was put up by the owners who abandoned the house it is next to. weeds and tree growing in and around car now.

vehicle was posted and gonna be towed MONTHS ago by Officer Schultz. Car STILL there in JULY after stating it would be TOWED back in FEBRUARY. WHAT A EYESORE and next to an abandoned house that has not been occupied in over three years.

How long can a unregistered, uninspected vehicle be stored in open on property? Also, how long are unregistered, uninspected junk vehicles allowed to be stored on CITY prot\perty? Got some at 13 Liebel Street and they have not moved in months. Let's just make the whole South End of the city a Junkyard

These two houses and the lot between are a huge eyesore. #8 was sold but is still vacant and has a huge elm tree growing up through the front steps. the abandoned car in the lot is still there but now surrounded by junk. There is another abandoned car in front of #8 that was in an accident in May but is still parked there. The South End is the forgotten part of the city.

Guess the mayor isnp;t so set on cleaning up parts of the South End now that election is over. Beside that car leaft over 5 years and abandoned eyesore, there is a wrecked newer car in fron of that same house that has NO rear liscense plate, no current inspection and only a EXPIRED temp registration on the window yet it remains there over a yea ON THE STREET blocking plowing, street cleaning etc.

February 2017 it was posted, over a year ago! the lot and abandoned car belong to the people who live in the house on the corner of Leonard and Scott.

Albany code states junk vehicles cannot be visible . This one is a neighborhood eyesore and there appears to be no effort to repair or move it. Maybe the City should plant flowers in it or something to improve the view?????

Its now June and the vehicle is still there! this September it will be 2 years since it was reported!

2 months since this vehicle was reported to codes and it is still there, they just cleaned the vegetation from around it. it will be 2 years on September 11th that is was first reported to the City. C'mon City of Albany, take your duties to the neighborhoods seriously....PLEASE!
