Rooftop A/C unit operates at a very loud level every night. Health Department Inspectors have been out to test the decibel level but came in the day because the city eliminated second shift inspectors. An exception was made but the noise level was tested at 8:00 pm with interruptions from as the inspector stated "cars, planes and locust." and yet somehow it was within limits The ordinance calls for 10 minutes of uninterrupted testing to get an accurate reading. The ordinance also mentions that the noise is in violation if it can be heard up to 600 feet away from the source. This is something that no officials have yet to recognize and/or enforce.
