Good Morning,
We have received your request and scheduled pick up for Wednesday, September 28th, 2016. Please be sure to have the item(s) at the curb by 7:00 AM and allow at least 3 feet of clearance between the items(s) and any other objects including your containers. Items should not be placed under any low hanging wires or tree limbs. We also ask that no bags, garbage, or anything containing glass be outside of your container(s).
In accordance with Virginia Beach City Code Section 31-8, it is the responsibility of the property owner to lawfully dispose of all building, construction or remodeling materials such as carpet, doors, cabinets, sinks, bricks, cement. Therefore we are unable to pick up bag of bricks However, if the waste was generated in the City of Virginia Beach from the primary residence and is delivered in a qualified, privately owned non-commercial vehicle, residents can take the waste to the Virginia Beach Landfill & Resource Recovery Center free of charge. Proof of Virginia Beach residency must be provided. The Landfill & Resource Recovery Center is located at 1989 Jake Sears Road, near Regent University off Centerville Turnpike. They are open Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Landfill personnel can be reached at 385-1980. If you have any questions, please call us at 385-4650.
