Description

Once again PPP ! Poor communication ,lack of respect for homeowners and tax payers! Yesterday09/26/16 the water provided to our homes was dark brown with no notification ! Last year for weeks we experienced the same water provision when they decided to open the flow from the Wading River/West Mansfield pumping station!!! When the city is flushing hydrants we get information/warning about discolored water which may effect our normal everyday process, but not this situation. No Warning at all ! No "robo" calls ,nothing! I offered to send the water to the Mayor or the new sports complex with out warning! We all had to call the water department to report this problem cconcerned we could have a broken water main in the area--------Oh no --------just a stupid irresponsible descion to supply one section of the city again with putrid water.! Was it safe to consume,, bathe, etc????? This lack of respect and communication to the taxpayer is unbelievable and does not support confidence in this city'sadministration at any level! We are fortunate on Holden St. to have the police ticketing speeders on Sundays----- never at 6-8 AM or 4-6PM,. with cars going 40-50mph , nor have I ever seen a trailer truck stopped for the routine speed they travel at ----40-50 mph! The city is a mess!!!!! Since you cannot provide basic service to the citizens already here why do you think you can provide to more that you want to "lead on" to come here . You Mr. Mayor and the heads of your department as well as the city council need to take care of your current business first before you can take care of anything else!
