This tree is in a terrible spot for bikers and walkers.

I tired and failed to have this tree removed with service request 12-00320972 back on nov.19th.

I was so frustrated with the city I tried to cut that one and the one further up foxhall last weekend. I succeeded with the other one but this one was too big for my hand saw.

I just went by this morning and this issue has not been resolved. I called 311 and they said that Urban Forestry is responsible. Anyone know how to reach them? Mike, do you know anyone with a chain saw? I'd be happy to help you try to resolve it.

I think I can get ahold of a chainsaw and would be happy to gang up on this with you.

I am free all day Sunday. If you'd like to meet at the tree branch at a certain time let me know and we'll "Get 'er done!".

Tree was removed this AM by DC! Don't know which group but it's gone.

That's great! I called and talked with someone in DC forestry yesterday. Now we don't need the chain saw :)
