Description

Cars come off I 91 exit 3 very fast and are eager to make the lights on Trumbull. They tend to ignore the pedestrians at the crosswalk at the corner of Lincoln and Trumbull. This is a high volme pedestrian route, and the combination of high speed traffic and numerous pedestrians makes this corner an accident waiting to happen.

The pedestrian walkway symbols on Trumbull are routinely ignored. I suggest putting in a flashing yellow light and perhaps a camera to encourage moter vehicles to respect the law and stop for pedestrians.
