Couldn't find the possum. You sure it was dead and wasn't just seriously hurt and hobbled away? Could you give more details on the location? I'll leave this ticket open for another few days and then close it if I don't hear from anyone. Thanks!

Definitely dead. But someone (cayote? river-dwelling hermit?) has removed/eaten it. No trace left.
