Description
This stretch of Western Avenue used to have hundreds of unrestricted parking spaces. Then one day, the BTD removed 95% of them.
Bike lanes and turning lanes at intersections would be useful. But a double-wide lane, lined with no stopping signs, doesn't help anyone. People who live, work, and study in the area should be allowed to have guests visit them by car. And on-street parking is an important component of a vibrant, walkable community.
The same thing happened on the other side of the business school, on North Harvard Street.
Please restore the on-street parking!
