Description

Marginal Drive is located in New Haven and the trash along the road and curb needs to be address. West Haven residents believe that this falls under the juridiction of the City of West Haven. New Haven Public Works is responsible to clean the area

New Haven Bioregional Group took a walk along the West River a few weeks ago (including along Marginal Dr). We filled up dozens of bags of trash, but there is still a lot to be cleaned.

Marginal Drive is physically located in West Haven. Whether or not the city of New Haven is responsible to clean streets located in West Haven, I would imagine that West Haven might want to keep its park areas as clean as possible for its residents.

Why was Marginal Drive closed? It could be a beautifully landscaped road along the river that would connect Yale/RT 34 with RT 1.
