Just found out there was an attempted theft last week around the corner on Burns. There is so much nighttime criminal activity in our neighborhood.

Agreed. It doesn't sound Ike there's been much publicity about these (attempted) break-ins. I had heard there was another series of break-in attempts in East Rock several weeks ago that I didn't see anything about in official city publicity streams. #KnowledgeIsPower

I agree! Sorry about your car. I'm on Whitney and never see any police activity unless they are on their way somewhere else. This is a main thoroughfare in the city. There are several parks and schools. There needs to be more police presence

Folks in this area need to be more vigilant and protect their stuff. The cops can't be everywhere all at once.

Lock doors and windows and don't leave valuables out in the open. (Basically use some common sense.)
