Description
All the street lights are OFF on one side of Ponce De Leon Avenue from Commerce Drive near Suntrust Bank up to the Square near Clairemont Drive and the old Courthouse. It's dangerous to walk there in the dark because the sidewalks are not well-maintained and create trip hazards unless you carry a flashlight when walking.

"Several blocks of street lamps along Ponce de Leon Avenue near the Old Courthouse have been out for weeks. Georgia Power was working to find the cause and had isolated the problem to a faulty underground service line. Before they could start on a repair, they had to pull all of their crews to help restore power to south Georgia and adjacent states in the aftermath of hurricane Matthew. Georgia Power is now back on the project and we have been assured they will make it their top priority."
