There are NO crosswalks along this stretch of Jackson and pedestrians and bus-riders frequently must just hope traffic abates long enough to cross. It's a dangerous situation and given the fatalities in Ann Arbor it should be fixed!

From Seventh to Maple is a distance of over a mile, with a single marked crosswalk in that entire distance. (There were two but the city asked MDOT to remove one of them). Fixing this has been a part of every plan for the last 15 years. I would certainly like to see some progress on this.
Here is the marked crosswalk at Revena that the city had MDOT remove during the BR-94 rebuild.
