There is a commuter bus stop here feeding to downtown Seattle which I use each weekday. The sidewalk here would be VERY difficult to navigate for wheelchairs and mobility challenged members of our community (further escalating the need to resolve quickly for equal access). The crosswalk at this intersection serves the sight challenged, and their is a sight challenged community member that frequently notice using this route. It must seem like a punch in the throat for them to have a talking crosswalk only to enter a sidewalk akin to a funhouse stairway at the fair. Just sayin'.
