Please note that the crosswalk at this intersection and several others along Ferry Street (and throughout Fair Haven, for that matter) have faded almost to the point of nonexistence. While bright crosswalks still can't ensure that motorists will yield, they can improve the visibility of pedestrians attempting to cross at points where no traffic lights or stop signs exist.
