It always amazes me how people attack another persons manners or intentions when they simply point out that someone is not doing their part. The people neglecting their sidewalk are being incredibly ignorant and do not deserve extra courtesy, nor should the concerned citizen have to put themselves in the line of fire for pointing it out.
The impoliteness started with the neglected sidewalk. Don't like the complaints? Shovel your walk like the rest of us. End of story.
