Case Resolved. Dear Constituent,. The Boston Public Works Construction Inspection Unit (CIU) Inspector investigated and determined the following. Conduit is being installed to improve cell phone service in the Brookline Ave Area. The contractor is aware that he must restore the bike lane pavement marking when the trench is topped. The weather may cause the contractor to paint the markings instead of using thermal plastic. We will make them come back in the spring to install thermal plastic if that's the case.
