Hello and Thanks you for Submitting an issue on the bees. Staff in Central Park are changing the trash out on a frequent basis to help alleviate the problem. We have tried numerous solutions to abate the bees. They also will be spraying all cans today with a white vinegar solution. The bees can be coming from up to 2 miles away and are not from an active hive in the park. so there is no way to find them. Once the bloom picks back up on local plants this will subside. Keep bees away from you! Get a 3 gallon plasic bucket and throw 3 or 4 Mountain Dew cans (just emptied) into the bucket. Place twenty feet away and all the bees will go to the bucket!
