Co-mingling of recycling. This week all of our glass was mixed with the paper plastic recycling. Can you please explain why this is happening if we are paying extra for glass recycling and have been told to separate these items? Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. The recycling is being separated. The trucks have 2 separate compartments on the truck. One half is for glass and the other half is for other recycled items. So it is being separated at the rear of the truck into 2 separate streams.

Felix - you are correct, on most days they drive a smaller truck that has two compartments. Last Tuesday it was a single stream truck.
I went back and reviewed my security camera footage to confirm this was the case before submitting this.
Many neighbors are asking the same question on this issue since we are paying more for our glass to be recycled.
