Issue was reported three months ago and nothing has been done. Both sides of Coles between 16 & 17 are owned by Coles Jersey Development Co., LLC. Block 6004 Lot 2 and Block 6003 Lots 1, 2, and 3. It's not clear if the owner or the city is responsible for providing a sidewalk, but someone is. This is a major liability waiting to happen.

I actually tried to find the old ticket, but could not find it. Please attach if anyone can find it.
Last weekend I was taking my 2 year old in bicycle to hamilton park, and the situation has worsened since 2 months ago. Even cars are parked under the bridge.

This will be sent over to Traffic & Engineering Department(201-547-4492) for inspection of the signage in this area.

These new buildings should provide ample parking. They are not.

Is there an update on this? Cast Iron Loft residents cannot have street parking, it's not just comment but the city ordinance and contract when the high rise was built. Plus the cars are parked in the middle of the road making it basically a one way street.

The situation has become worse with a lot more cars parked. As spring and summer coming, there is no sidewalk access to Hamilton park. Walking or cycling in that street is very dangerous. especially with 2 year/ 3 year ones.

Cart before the horse again JC. Put sidewalks and proper parking spaces in place now.

And when are they putting a park up around that area?

The other day i saw parents with kids walking on the road because there is no sidewalk. felt like some city in India in 1990s where there is no rules. :-(

Our apologies for the delayed response. Our department is proposing an ordinance for the Council's consideration to restrict parking in this area to improve pedestrian mobility.
