The speeding condition should be forwarded to Bridgeport PD for enforcement . Traffic signal control and stop sign are not intended to be used to control speed.

Traffic signal control and stop sign control installation is based on traffic warrants including traffic volumes. It is unlikely that this intersection meets the required thresholds.

This is unacceptable!!! You guys are bypassing the main point to this complaint!! This is a school zone!!!! It is extremely dangerous!!! Even with a crossing guard... it doesn't make a difference, these drivers don't care to stop for our children these kids are trying to cross the street and the drivers could care less to stop!! The traffic light from E. Main & Barnum Ave. to Seaview & Barnum Ave. is too spaced out!!!! Surely I know stop signs and traffic signal control are not intended to "control" speed or these crazy drivers but they won't have such a huge gap in between lights to pick up such speed. It will definitely cut down the accidents and MOST IMPORTANTLY it will be safer for our children!!! Please take this into consideration and do something about this on going problem!!

we can not install any new signage with out it being approved throught the board of police commission
so you will need to write a letter to the board of police commissioners with your request for approval
