The sidewalk on 46th St South (which is the back property of 1759 Scranton St. South) has still not been cleared of trash, weeds, and tall grasses that block the walkway. It puts pedestrians in danger because they must walk in traffic along that stretch...and it also creates a place for bugs and rodents to breed. This report has been closed twice, but the problem still has not been resolved/fixed. Please reopen the case and get the owner to clean up the sidewalk/property.

This still has not been rectified as of 3/21/17. The sidewalk is still unusable behind that house. And several surrounding properties still have knee-high or higher grasses on the 46th street side of the property. This case is continually closed but the overgrowth is not removed.

No updates have been posted as of 3/22, and the issue remains. It is becoming more problematic now that spring and summer have brought the foliage back to life.

It has been OVER ONE FULL YEAR and this has not been cleaned up! Please address the situation! (Today is Jan 13, 2018!)

THIS CASE WAS CLOSED BY CODES COMPLIANCE OVER ONE YEAR AGO, YET NO ACTION HAS BEEN TAKEN TO CORRECT THE SITUATION TO THIS DAY!! The yard at the back of property (on 46th St South) still has never been cleaned. There is not only overgrowth along the right-of-way, but also the sidewalk is covered by a large pile of leaves topped with dog (or cat) poop!! It is impassable to pedestrians, and also very unsanitary. Please reopen this case so it will be taken care of before being closed again! The owners (a rental agency) must be held accountable to the same standards and laws as homeowners are!
