There is also a problem with the design of the cement structure next to the light at the corner of Gilbert and Pleasant Valley (in front of The Point At Rockridge). The structure interferes with drainage in heavy rain causing a cascade of water across the corner and into the street (towards Broadway), which makes it impossible to use the cross walks without getting soaked. The force of the water is so strong that it lifts the lid of the electrical box for the light and the box fills up with water. I have replaced the lid twice already. The cascade of water blocks access to the cross walk for elderly and disabled persons to safely cross Pleasant Valley.

the other problem is with drivers coming OUT of The Ridge: there still is no clarity about which lanes can turn left onto Pleasant Valley. The right lane should be right turn ONLY onto PV because otherwise traffic on Gilbert cannot figure out which car will do what.
