One of these days it is going to fall and hit someone on the head. Please note the city has not acknowledge this post. Will someone please call LCI. I am tired of calling.after reading a post which have been phoned in

LCI got a direct email from this post XYZ. There is no difference between calling and this.

There are City staff monitoring this website.

ALWAYS CALL 911 FOR ANY EMERGENCY ISSUES (POLICE, FIRE, MEDICAL, UNSAFE BUILDINGS, ETC...) STAFF ARE TRAINED TO TRIAGE YOUR CONCERN AND RESPOND APPROPIATELY WHEN SOMEONE CALL IN AN EMERGENCY TO 911.

POLICE NON-EMERGENCY 203.946.6316 is a great option if you have a concern and you feel 911 is not needed due to the nature of your matter.

There is a great difference between calling and posting. When you call someone in a city department knows immediately there is a problem, when you post it is when a city departments actually reads it
If you post at night or on weekends a great amount of time can pass before a post is actually read.. It took two days for the city to acknowledge this post, So if it is a safety issue call, then post to alert others and to have a record it was called in.

LCI has reached out to the Building Official who is the jurisdictional authority for an issue of this nature.

Per Building Official: "Its not falling".

I had also called the building official regarding this issue months ago. He told me it was not going to fall as well. Sorry for forgetting to post response.
