This is always an eyesore, directly across from transfer station ?
The owner of the pile of debris lives on the dirt driveway directly behind this pile of debris. He's a junker - meaning, he gets a pile of debris, sorts through it for scrap metal that he can sell to the scrapyard, and leaves the remains of it in a pile next to the road for you guys to pick up - and for taxpayers to pay for. Since he does this as his business, the landfill across the street won't take the stuff.
A while back I had gone back there to see if he had some scrap lead - He had a burn-pit that he was burning this debris - then sift through the ashes to get the metal.
I never did see the owner, though I am sure he was home at the time - just ignoring the door.
I am going to submit this to the Director of Public Works and see if we can't get an inspector from Building Safety & Inspections involved, I will keep you informed.
