There are no cross walks within OAK Street. They are at one end (where Griffin/High/Appomatox/Oak streets intersect) but no where else. Where the sidewalk ends at Grove Street on one side of the street and continues on the other then runs out again at the Hospital and starts again on the original side there are no crosswalks. Pedestrians have to wait for traffic (moving faster than the 25mph) as they pop up over the hills up and down OAK street.
