Beschreibung

The abandoned building on the NW corner of 8th and Federal is now being occupied by squatters and last night bombed with graffiti. There is also litter and liquor bottles on the premises. It is a disgrade that nothing has been done with the property and an embarrassment to the neighborhood.

Scioli Turco will be filing for Act 135 Conservancy of this property shortly (at the request of Passyunk Square Civic Association/PSCA). Once conservanccy is granted, Scioli Turco will completley rehabilitate the property. This is NOT a quick process. That said, we hope to have a hearing within the next two months. Recently my street has been bombed with graffiti too and I am about to open a report. It happened this week and is all over. We also have had human excrement which I am sure is due to the fact that this street is hidden from tons of foot traffic.
