Yes, people do park cars they own if front of houses they own.

That car has since moved. But it was parked there for 3 weeks before it was finally moved. Also the owner of the car does not own the house that is was parked in front of.

Chuck, in Dec the car was parked in front of your building but last month it was not. I find it sad that we try to be good neighbors by shoveling snow, cutting grass, etc and people can't even talk to one another about their cars if they are bothering them, but they hide behind an app and do it.

With so many rentals that don't use garages on the block, parking is sparse.

As we take advantage of the walkable city Whiting is, we do leave our car parked for days at times.
