Description
Heading north on rt44. (2 lanes)
because there is no lane exclusively (a 3rd turning lane only) for turning right onto Blackbrook Rd.,.cars turning right onto Blackbrook have to stop to make the turn.. so, many motorists drive in the left lane intending to use the Rt.283 exit, and try to merge at the last minute to use the Rt.283 exit.

Being a person who lives ner here and makes this turn several times per day, I can state that a part of the problem is tailgaters who are "mad" at me for having the audacity of turning on Blackbrook when they want to go 70 MPH all the way to the Lakeshore ramp. And this with me putting on my turn indicator well before I slow down for the turn - not like my turn should have surprised them
When going from Blackbrook onto 44, I always count to three after the light turns green for me - it seems the red light on 44 is merely a suggestion to many drivers.
That turn is awfully tight for the tanker trucks headed to Lubrizol. Many times I've had to back-up at that light to allow truckers to complete their turn without removing my front quarter panel.

The intersection needs widened with a rt hand turning lane off of 44North,,,,It just gets kinda irritating being in the rt lane to exit at Lk Shore ,and some numbskull cuts in front of you at the last minute wanting to do the same thing( because Mr or Ms. My Time Is More Important Than Yours doesn`t want to wait for drivers to make the turn onto Blackbrook.)...wish I was an undercover cop,I could make the city a lot of money.
I see how road rage happens, but I keep my cool.
