East Border Road and the Fellsway are not maintained by the City of Malden. They are both state roads maintained by the DCR.

Dear CJ Otieno: Try contacting from DCR Community Relations. I have been thanking them for managing to plow the sidewalks all the way to the Eastern end of E Border Road. Without curb cuts, the piece you are talking about would require hand work, but it's worth a try!

This is why it's so aggravating that this intersection was completely replaced without curb cuts less than three years ago. If this was an old road up for repair that would be one thing. How did they get away with this? Our entire neighborhood uses this intersection to walk to oak grove. I spoke to Rep. Donato about the plowing last week and it's great they are now clearing the spot where someone DIED but to say the lack of curb here absolves them from doing more is insanity to me.

This office is working to identify the Point of Contact at the Dept. of Conservation & Recreation that oversees snow removal in the Fellsway. Thank you, Mr. Webb. A contact email or phone number that gets disseminated through this site whenever there is a complaint about a DCR-managed road or parcel would be greatly appreciated, though the Community Relations people have been helpful.
