Description

The bank on the north end of Bear Creek is crumbling and threatening the homes along the bank.I have live her almost 25 years and have seen this taking place over time..The side of the creek used to be cut by Corrections Crews and heavy equipment. The bank has eroded and the equipment can only go so far..The Jail crews took a few years off and the weeds grew into trees. When they started again they never cut the weeds(trees) and the erosion just got worse. If the trees are not removed and the side of the bank not reinforced the homes along the bank will most certainly be flooded.
