Description
There has been a long standing debate as to whether or not parking meters on Upper State Street would solve for the long standing perception of parking challenges.
The City has a current proposal to add meters to the street here and I would be curious to hear insights from residents and businesses.

GM Ben,most residents are affilated with yale those who r not generaly work during most business hours and move their cars. My property located between Bradlee & Eld St is a free parking zone for the atorneys at the cout house my businses owners confront these people to express their business suffer due to them parking all day for free.
There r 12 residental units that been here since 1900 so they r granfatered in for parking as i believe you may have that in you zone. Many of the university, hospital fellows have mixed schedules 12 am to 12 pm when 2 hr the parking is in effect. So I do believe a residentsl sticker is welcome as they r on side strees. I recommend my tenants get the sticker the problem there r no spaces since more people duble up in smll apartments. We should inforce the 2 hr parking as I have to remover the free loaders and abandoned cars.
Have a good day
