Description

The speed limit on Mt. Royal Terrace is 25 mph, but no one drives less than 50 because:

1) The sign to the entrance to Mt. Royal Terrace from Druid Park Lake Drive says "83" not "TO 83" or "Mount Royal Terrace, quiet historic residential street that happens to connect to another street that happens to connects to 83." Drivers see the highway sign and drive like they are on a highway.

2) The street is two lanes, one way. It should be narrowed and either made 2-way or have angle parking added to slow traffic down.

3) The speed limit signs are not visible and the speed limit is never enforced.

At the very least, the sign from Druid Park Lake Drive to Mount Royal Terrace should be changed. One of those signs that report your speed wouldn't hurt either.
