Perhaps a traffic light would be in order there. The other hoped-for benefit of that would be to help slow down the drivers who very inconsiderately and rather precariously continue to use the eastbound middle, i.e. second for the left turn onto the 128 ramp lane as a thoughtlessly-improvised second straight-ahead lane for an accelerated approach to the Kendrick Ave/Hunting Road intersection.

Just a heads-up, this issue is on the agenda for the Traffic Management Advisory Committee's monthly meeting on Wednesday September 18, 2019. I just found out last minute from the city website.
