Our aqua pond that stores our irrigation water from the City of Venice has a huge algae bloom that is causing horrible odors and green algae all along the shore. The community and club have installed aerators, sprayed, etc. but have been told that since the phosphorous levels in the irrigation water are so high, the problem is much worse. Those of us with allergies are suffering from the air.
