Owners of the property currently have a guest house they rent out as a B & B. In addition, without a permit, they are making the lower level of their house into an apartment without a permit. Code does not allow for multiple ADUs on a property. They have plumbing contractors and others at their house every week day so are moving right ahead without any regard for the local zoning and building code. They should know better because the owner is a former employee of COBI. If they want to use their home as a money-making machine they shouldbuy a multi-family property in an area where it iszoned for that, or move someplace where they are allowed to do whatever they want - perhaps back to Montana?
