Try driving it at night, in the rain, high beams coming up at you, potholes everywhere, no reflective road striping and a deep drop off at the margin. Compare this road to our low-trafficked but wide residential streets with their well-defined Belgian block edges.
Compare this ancient road's maintenance to that of the well marked Herrontown Road which as late as the 1980's was in-part a dirt path passable only by 4 wheel drive vehicles. Why is this dire situation been allowed to continue and indeed to worsen ?
