This is not good.

Three more buildings were 'tagged' overnight. Taggers are venturing out now and exercising their mighty cans if spray paint by writing(?) derogatory words. Etc. 'gay', '@#$%', 'fat a@@'. Not certain at what point the city deems the tags need to stop. Similar stories in Henrico last year. News worthy? Mayor Stoney? Councilman Hilbert?

It is a problem, but statistically this is a couple of 15 year old kids acting out. We need to keep responses proportional in mediums such as this one to ensure appropriate government response, lest we as a community be swept under the rug as 'crying wolf' when issues do require quick escalation. If evidence of gang violence exists this would be an appropriate concern for the mayor or city council. Thank you for documenting.

Many residents and shop owners have been working diligently to clean up our area. One such effort was having each store/shop painted.
The Msyir and both Council persons are active in our revitalization and interested in its success.
Quite frankly I don't care who is doing it and neither do the rest of our concerned citizens.
We are asking for assistance in cleaning it up. As in the past we have volunteered to assist in the painting and do so again.

During walk through by Mayor, Chief, local residents and shop owners all found the graffiti to be something none of us want for our neighborhood.

Agreed. I have seen firsthand the ability of the SCF system to ignore reporters that they feel are requesting escalation too quickly. I did not want this issue painted with the same brush.

City has submitted a work order through DPU. Local merchants, RPD Dept. and Mayor were not happy during a recent walk.through. Mayor and RPD pushing to have tagging eradicated as we collectivly work on our ongoing beautification project of "our" business corridor.

Still waiting for Mayors/RPD workorder with DPU to be addressed.

Brought up by both Mayor and Chief of RPD in recent meetings. They too are curious as to why this has not been addressed. Neither of them or most in our city's governing offices want this in our neighborhood.

340 views and still nothing resolved. Tomorrow night at our BPB business owners meeting we will discuss what or why this has not been addressed. We are not getting the support we were promised, to help us clean up the business corridor to attract more businesses and improve the overall neighborhood.

SCF, new businesses are opening in this corridor and lack of response by the city is causing an unsafe appearance for the area. This will have an economic impact if it is not resolved. First reported in January--please acknowledge and escalate through appropriate channels.

9 months and this issue has still not been resolved. Every, single civic meeting it comes up and every single month I receive this notice that the issue has not been acknowledged by the City office.
How about a hint how to get this moving through your mystical pipeline and dropped in the appropriate office "to do" basket?

SCF has not responded - still, those city employees who attend various civic/community meetings promise to see what the hold up is. For those in elected office, vote them out at the end of their terms. For those who are employed by DPU who have made promises to ‘fix’.... shame on you. For those who wear blue and repeatedly ask for the public’s assistance in eradicating crime... we report Tagging Graffeti, which is gang related ... you show no support as you promised time after time.

Many shop owners have taken their time to paint over the their buildings only to have the same jerks come back and find the walls spray painted again with the narcissistic brats names. So no, you have not addressed. The business owners keep trying with no assist from the city or the neighborhood to catch these jerks.

This is still being addressed. However we might be getting relief through a DPU inmate program. Fingers crossed. Also having Real artists from our area who will be creating artwork on walls where requested.
