I agree 100% It is nearly impossible to make a left turn on Enterprise unless you're already in the intersection and someone has activated the crosswalk to make the lights red. The whole area is just a mess now - it really upsets me when I see emergency vehicles (ambulances and fire trucks) crawling up Hillsborough St because nobody can get out of their way anymore.

I came on here to post this issue. It isthe 1st day of the semester and at 5pm and traffic along Hillsborough St is just 1 car after another, and no opportunity to turn left onto Enterprise unless a driver stops and waves you on.

Any update on this CoR? Still is a problem.

We have just begun a signal study for this location. It could take up to 45 days to compile all data and to complete the study.

Still waiting on the field data for this study, but wanted to update to let you know we are still working on it.

OMG I am so glad this update is posted, This afternoon, I had to finally just go straight and around the traffic cirlce to Oberlin and then left on Clark to get to the Bank Of America. IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE to turn left onto Enterprise, just one car after another in oncoming traffic.

It's only going to get worse with the addition of these 500+ apartments and City of Raleigh wants to do the same thing now to Oberlin as they did to Hillsborough Street??? NUTS!!!!

Why not just go through the circle? Do you really need to stop traffic because you want to take a left? It's faster than waiting for the light to change.

Instead of turning left on Enterprise, turn left on Logan or go around the circle and come down Dan Allen. Or just use Wade Ave instead and come from that side.

At signal study was completed and this intersection did not meet the warrant s required for the installation of a protected left turn signal. It is not recommended at this time a protected left turn signal be installed. Thanks you for your concern with the safe and efficient movement of traffic.
