I have complained recently concerning the Mgmt. at mastick abusing their access of personal info. given in confidence by seniors. Lately the Mgmt. has been making calls to seniors requesting they take a class offered at Mastick. The Mgmt. is pushy and offers free coupons, when their request is denied. Many seniors being contacted live alone and are frightened by these solicited calls. I just found out that the Mgmt. went so far as to phone a friend of mine, Dr. Phillip Gardener, who was very ill and had been admitted to Alameda Hospital. The Senior center Mgmt. was pushy, and this was a very poor decision to phone a senior while ill in the Hospital. Has it gotten so bad that AlaMEDA workers no longer have decency, or a consciencious? When will these calls to unsuspecting seniors finally be put to an end?
