Now that there has been at best a fair patch job to E Drive N. the next two roads that I frequently travel are 8 1/2 Mile and D Drive N. There is a particular section of D Drive that the road has nearly crumbled the entire width of BOTH lanes. 8 1/2 Mile between Bishop meadows and B Drive is shameful.

E Dr N continues to have ongoing holes in both lanes. The "patch" job that was done a few weeks ago has not rectified the unsafe driving surface. Again, this creates damage to vehicles and greatly increases the likelihood of an accident due to drivers swerving. Patch work fails time and time again. How about using funds that are appropriated for road repairs be used or fix, not bandaid.

E Drive North continues to be problematic nearly 8 months after my first submission. All of my prior comments I have left before are still not resolved. Patch work is NOT an effective tool in rectifying the unsafe road conditions. Doing the same thing over and over again (tossing fill in holes with shovels) and expecting to get a different result (fixed roads) is the definition of insanity.

E Drive N. Please see above trail of comments. There are a multitude of holes and drivers continue to play “chicken” with each other crossing the mid line. For the safety of all who take E Drive, fix the road. I am sure those residents of 8 1/2 Mile, D Drive and C Drive are doing the same thing too.

Issue remains. Chip seal has been placed into some, but not all problem holes on E Dr. N. My fellow neighbors on D drive, C Drive, 8 1/2 Mile and now lets add 11 mile road continue to have the exact same problem. Some holes filled, others completely ignored. Unsafe, hazardous conditions have NOT been resolved. It has now been over one year since this issue has remained open.

My recent email from Clickfix states “your issues has been open 510 days”. Wow. And it appears my prediction was right on as D Drive N is now closed due to road failure. My issue will remain open, indefinitely.

You may close this thread. We moved. Out of Emmett township. Now the roads can be someone else’s problem.
