Description
I go through this intersection twice a day and it's a disaster. Town St is not wide enough where it meets J.D. blvd and the island in the middle of John Dietsch prevents people from making proper turns. As a result people who should have the right-a-way are forced to yield to non-right-of-way traffic... It's a complete mess and I'm shocked there aren't rear-end accidents on a regular basis. I'm sick of getting honked at because I have to come to a complete stop and let Town street traffic go before I can swing the turn from J.D. to Towne. Please fix this!

This intersection appears to be constructed in this fashion to prohibit truck access to Towne St. We are in the process of developing a plan to do paving work on John D. and will take a look at the intersection during our planning. Thank you for reporting this issue.

After reviewing the original construction plans and speaking with the police department, it has been determined that the intersection was constructed in that fashion to specifically discourage its use, as part of the original development of the industrial park. As such, the intersection will not be improved to facilitate more traffic flow through it during our paving project.
Thank you for comments.

I suggest that you submit a request to the Town's Traffic Study Committee. You can do this through Town Hall.
thank you
