Description

it can take up to 10 minutes to get out on the road. and if you are lucky you wont come close to being sideswiped by someone coming off 9w.

This is a busy intersection and it is often dangerous turning left from 9W to Glasco. Cars are whizzing by on your right without slowing and cars are charging down the hill. IN addition cars are waiting to turn left from Glasco to 9W often already in the 9W southbound lane in an attempt to get out.

How many accidents has there been at this intersection in the past ten years? How many fatalities or near fatalities? What does it take to install a light? New county electives that will listen/make changes?

This intersection is an absolute NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*The entrance from Glasco Tpke. onto Route 9W is WAY TOO WIDE! The mouth of the road is like 3 times wider than it needs to be!!!
*The angle is too steep to accelerate out onto Route 9W!
*Not to mention the bridge which is about ready to COLLAPSE!!!
*And the entire intersection is like a GRAVEL PIT!!! Every time you try to pull out, you lose traction and ROCKS fly everywhere!
*It's like a free-for-all for wherever drivers feel like driving! You have to pull so far out in case you roll backwards!
*I have even had drivers on 9W northbound pull into Glasco Turnpike BEHIND MY CAR!!!

WHAT A COMPLETE MESS!!!! FIX THIS INTERSECTION AND BRIDGE NOW!!!! WE, THE PEOPLE, WON'T WAIT ANY LONGER!!!!
