They do when I drive that way... I pull in front of them and make them go around. If a few more did that they might stop it. I've had a few... irritated... drivers. Ha. I can be more stubborn than them... especially when they are on the wrong side of a double yellow line.

Yes, please fix this! It's a terrible problem, especially during commute hours. Directional arrows on the street might help.

Or cones along the double yellow line and around the turn under the freeway, so nobody can cross into the opposite lane w/o driving over the cones. Probably need an opening for the pedestrian crossing.

I think the only way they will fix it is if they put some of those flexible stanchions up on the double yellow line... otherwise the idiot drivers will just cross it.

Contacting Gallo is a joke. The traffic back up is a problem caused by Gallo 's insistence that UPRR put in a 2nd traffic signal at the tracks on Fruitvale. Traffic now backs up on Fruitvale into Alameda, shopping/880 and 880 exit traffic on E9th. Drivers don't see the yellow lines for needed or Lancaster left turns.

Funny how not thinking it through can make problems worse...

Perhaps Gallo should have to be involved in the FIX for this problem.
