These have gotten really bad.
Walker Rink has about 500 visitors on weekdays and over 1000 on weekends.
According to the Rink Manager the conditions have been bad for years.

The City of New Haven did start repairs (Oct 2009). The asphalt on the surface of the parking lot was torn up and the whole lot leveled with gravel and dirt. This is an improvement over the large potholes, but not a longterm solution. There was some speculation that calcium chloride would be laid down over this surface this year (2009) and that re-paving the enitre lot would occur next year (2010)

This was fixed!
